The Ohio Christian University Outdoor Track and Field teams participated in the Ashland Alumni Invite this past weekend. Despite the cold temperatures, and some rough wind conditions, the Trailblazers were still able to compete well and come out with high-quality performances.
The day started with SO.
Paige Parker in the 1500-meter race, with a time of 5:01.95 and a 10
th place finish. This time was 3 seconds off her personal best time of 4:58.73, and her first opportunity to run this event during the outdoor season. This time also qualified Parker for the NCCAA National Meet.
SO.
Impreza Rogers also competed strongly this past weekend, with a personal record in both of her events, with a time of 5:16.63 in the 1500-meter race and a time of 2:39.98 in the 800-meter race.

Evan Meisberger had an outstanding performance in the 400-meter hurdles, with a time of 54.78s and a 4
th place finish. This time took Meisberger from 11
th to 2
nd overall in the NCCAA performance list, and also breaking his own school record in the event.

Kayden Vanhoose also represented the sprints team in the 200-meter dash, achieving a lifetime best in the event with a time of 27.04.
The day came to a close with FR.
Baily Chabot in the 5,000-meter race. Chabot smashed his previous personal record in the event, going from 17:56 to 17:08 in the event.
The Trailblazers will be returning to finish their season at the NCCAA Outdoor Track National Championships on May 7
th-9
th with 14 individual qualifications.
