CEDARVILLE, OH - The track and field team opened their outdoor season at the Yellow Jacket Invitational at Cedarville University on Saturday.
Payton Herron highlighted the day for the Trailblazers with a 22-second PB in the 3000m steeplechase. Herron came in 9th out of 19 athletes with a time of 10:24.33.
Bryden Moxley came up with a one-second PB in the 1500m run with a time of 4:13.90, placing 17th out of 53 athletes.
Korban Cominsky competed in the 400m hurdles for the first time in his career with a time of 1:05.72.
On the women's side,
Abigail Kobs PR'd by 48 seconds in the 5000m run with a time of 20:48.44.
Lexie Engstrom finished 18th out of 34 athletes in the 1500m run with a time of 5:15.39.
The Trailblazers are back in action this Saturday, April 6th when they split between the Huntsman Family Invite and the George Glass Invitational.
