LOGAN, OH - The track and field team rounded out a successful indoor track season with 11 PBs, three school records and eight All-RSC honors at the River States Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday.
The men's 4x800m relay team (
Evan Caldwell,
Payton Herron,
Bryden Moxley,
Corry Mientkiewicz) highlighted the day, smashing their own school record from last year's championship meet by 12 seconds with a time of 8:05.72. The time put the Trailblazers on the podium in second place.
Evan Caldwell had two school records on the day, breaking his own record in the 600m race from earlier this season by one second with a time of 1:24.49 and a third-place finish. This is Caldwell's fifth time breaking a school record this indoor season.
Lexie Engstrom broke her own school record in the 800m race from earlier this season by three seconds with a time of 2:23.44 a second-place finish. All three of Engstrom's indoor track school records were run at the RSC Championships.
The women's distance medley relay came up with a top-three finish to bring more hardware home for the Trailblazers.

Abigail Kobs and
Impreza Rogers ran a 13:26.94.
Freshman
Paige Parker was a fraction of a second off of the mile school record, finishing in 6th place with a time of 5:27.79 for a six-second PB.
Garrett Carver also had a PB in the mile by three seconds with a time of 4:41.92.
