UPLAND, IN - The track and field team came up with six PB's and a new school record at the Trojan Invite hosted by Taylor University on Saturday.
Bryden Moxley highlighted the day, breaking an eight-year-old school record in the 1,000m run with a three-second PB of 2:37.79 and a first place finish.
The team had five other top-five finishes along with their six PB's.
Junior
Payton Herron also had a great day in the 1,000m run with a 13-second PB of 2:45.33 and fifth place finish..
It was a good day for the freshman on the team.
Impreza Rogers put down a 27-second PB of 6:02.34. Freshman
Chris Corsaro had a PB of 7.66 seconds in the 60m dash.
Fellow freshman
Paige Parker placed third in the 1,000m run with a time of 3:17.52. She was just behind
Lexie Engstrom who placed second with a time of 3:15.76.
Senior
Jaden Smith placed fifth in the weight throw with a PB of 12.79m.
Sophomore Garrett Craver tacked on a first place finish in his heat and 15th overall out of 55 athletes with a nine-second PB of 4:44.27 in the mile run.
The Trailblazers have one more meet before the conference championships next Friday, February 2nd when they head to Cedarville University for the Cedarville Collegiate Invite.
