MARION, IN - The Trailblazers had their second meet of the year on Friday night at the IWU Twilight Invitational. Both teams got to race the distances they will see at the RSC Championships, with the women racing a 6k and the men racing an 8k.
Corry Mientkiewicz led the way on the men's side, placing 65th our of 196 runners with a time of 26:44.
Payton Herron was just nine seconds away from his PB, finishing 91st with a time of 27:09.
Bryden Moxley crossed the line at 28:30 and freshman
Seth Ogan finished his first collegiate 8k with a time of 29:43.
The young girls side struggled in their first 6k.
Lexie Engstrom led with a time of 24:59, placing 52nd out of 134 runners.
The Trailblazers are back at it this Friday when they travel to Cedarville University for the All-Ohio Championships. The men will race at 6 p.m. and the women will follow at 6:40 p.m.Â
