ESPORTS OFF TO A 3-0 START IN OVERWATCH 2

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Ohio Christian Overwatch 2 team is 3-0 to start the season, with victories over Barton College, Transylvania University and Baldwin Wallace University.

The Trailblazers opened the season with a 3-1 win over Barton University. Elijah Throckmorton came up with a big performance in his DPS role and Ethan Embrey playing support. Matthew McShrane's symmetra was key in the Trailblazers' victory in the King's Row map.

Head coach Seth Wages could clearly see the improvement his team had made in the offseason in their 3-0 win over Transylvania University. The team exhibited great communication in the win and Brandon Benner stepped up in the Tank to secure the win.

Benner was solid in the Tank again in the Trailblazers' 3-0 win over Baldwin Wallace as he had multiple game-changing bubbles to keep his teammates alive. McShane also had amazing timing on his tank form on Bastion to win key team fights.

The Trailblazers are back in action to begin the second half of the season on Tuesday, March 5th when they take on Manchester University at 7 p.m.
