The OCU eSports team has been competing in both Overwatch and Call of Duty this week. On Monday April 13th, the Overwatch squad played Mid-America Christian University, where they won to advance to the semi-finals. The group consisted of Ethan Embrey, Elijah Throckmorton, Kyran Whitmire, Zane Travis, Cameron Jenkins, and Brycen Carver. They were backed up by Ashleigh Jackson and Emmalee Grey. The team will take on Florida Tech Monday, April 20th at 8:30 pm.

The Call of Duty team took part in the Round 1 Playoffs on Wednesday, April 15. This has been the best showing ever for the team, as they entered a first-time matchup for the playoffs. The team played Baldwin Wallace University. The squad consisted of Wyatt Hayes, Ben Porter, Jayce Bottoms, and Landen Cox. This group had the strongest COD team in OCU history. With off-season training, they have high hopes for the future.
