Conner Flynn enters his second season as men’s and women’s cross country Head Coach for Ohio Christian University. Originally from Proctorville, OH and an alum of Fairland High School, Flynn continued his running career at Shawnee State University in the Mid-South Conference. There he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sports Studies.
While competing for the Bears of Shawnee State, he and his team became three-time Mid-South Conference Team Champions. He also achieved the accolade of Academic All-Conference.
He then took his knowledge that he learned from competing at Shawnee to coach the cross-country team at Kentucky Christian University while also studying to obtain his Master's in Management and Leadership as well as Master’s in Business Administration at Western Governor's University. He coached the Knights for three years as well as held the title of Recruiting Coordinator for the team for all three seasons.
He has coached a total of five NAIA All-Americans at KCU, coached in eight NAIA National Championships also at KCU, and was able to coach an individual National Runner-Up in the Women’s NAIA scene in 2020.
His Father (Jason Flynn) and Mother (Jana Flynn) still reside in Proctorville, OH. He has one brother (Thayer) and Sister-in-law (Patti) who live in Chesapeake, OH as well has having one sister (Maddi) who lives in Huntington, WV.
