Circleville, OH - Ohio Christian University is proud to announce the hiring of Will Nowak as the next head coach of the men's basketball program. Nowak joins the Trailblazers after serving on the coaching staff at Malone University, where he established himself as a respected leader, recruiter, and mentor to student-athletes.

"Throughout the hiring process, Will stood out because of his knowledge of the game, and his vision for building a championship culture rooted in faith, character, and excellence. We are excited about the future of our men's basketball program under his leadership."
During his time at Malone, Nowak contributed to player development, recruiting efforts, and overall program growth while building strong relationships throughout the basketball community. His commitment to faith-based education and student-athlete success made him a natural fit for Ohio CChristian University.
"I'm incredibly honored and excited to be named the next head coach at Ohio Christian University," said Nowak. "I want to sincerely thank President R.D. Saunders, Athletic Director Ally Coyle, and everyone involved in this process for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. I'm grateful for the support and trust they've shown me from the beginning of this process.
"I'm excited to get to Circleville and begin building a program that our university, community, alumni, and student-athletes can be proud of. We're going to create a culture centered on faith, high-character individuals, and success both on and off the court. I can't wait to get started!"
Before his role at Malone, Nowak served four seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Findlay. His responsibilities included overseeing recruiting coordination, managing game-day operations and film exchange, supporting player development, contributing to alumni relations initiatives, handling social media efforts, and leading both the men's and women's junior varsity programs as head coach.
A native of Dover, Ohio, Nowak graduated from the University of Findlay in 2022 with dual degrees in Marketing and Sports Management. While at Findlay, he competed in cross country and track and field, represented student-athletes as a SAAC representative, and maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout his academic career.
