GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- Women's Soccer had four players on the score sheet and another hat trick as they defeated the Tigers 7-0. 

The Trailblazers were made to work for the first goal as Grace Christian held the line defensively. Elizabeth Grooms found the back of the net in the 16th minute to break the deadlock. Shortly after, Syerra Metzler battled her way through two defenders before slotting it bottom corner to make it 2-0. Brya McClain would make it 3 from close range as the Trailblazers were now in complete control. This marks McClain's first collegiate goal. Briston Terry would score three goals in 15 minutes for her first collegiate career hat trick. Syerra Metzler finished the scoring for the day in the 83rd minute. The result makes 5 clean sheets in a row. 

"I was impressed with the fluidity of ball movement from the whole team," said Coach Beth Arroyo. "I'm proud and am very encouraged when our freshmen step up and put points on the scoreboard. Freshmen Briston and Brya helped get us on the board and of course Syerra and Lizzie also contributed. Our defense continues to be solid and added another shutout. We give God all the glory for the talent He has given the ladies."

The Trailblazers return back to Michigan to take on Great Lakes Christian before a quick turnaround trip to Indiana University Columbus.
