TOCCOA FALLS, GA - Women's soccer scored four goals in the first half and one in the second to earn a victory over Toccoa Falls College.
Senior
Karissa Buttelwerth didn't take long to give Trailblazers the lead after she fired in from the top of the box. Shortly after, Buttelwerth whipped in a cross and scored directly from a corner before finding the net a third time in the first half. Senior
Elizabeth Grooms would also find the back of the net in both halves to round out the score.
I'm proud of the team, they did really well," said Coach
Beth Arroyo. "Both attack and defense were on display as we scored some great goals and kept a shutout. Our seniors came up big with five goals combined between Karissa and Lizzie. The real star was the team performance. We moved the ball, combined, looked dangerous and more importantly, finished our chances. On to next week as we set our focus to another game on the road."
