CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The softball team came up with two big wins on Senior Day, taking down Point Park University 8-3 and 2-1. The Trailblazers honored
Jobi Allen,
Hilarie Spitler,
Roxi Herdman,
Kylee Bako,
Kristin Gardner and
Karlee Steele in their final home game of the season.
With one series to go, the Trailblazers are 16-24 and 14-16 in conference play.
Hilarie Spitler pitched the first win, striking out four and allowing just three runs.
Emma Hastings pitched the second win, with fiveÂ
Roxi Herdman showed up on her Senior Day, going 2-2 at the plate in game one with a two-run homer and a double.Â
Lexi King also had a home run in game one and batted in one of the two runs to secure the win in game two.
Hannah Burton was 2-2 in game two while
Kristin Gardner batted in the winning run in the 6th inning.Â
The Trailblazer meet the Pioneers in just two days when they head to Pittsburgh for a their final regular season doubleheader on Saturday, April 27th at 1 and 3 p.m.
