LIMA, OH - The softball team fell twice to the University of Northwestern Ohio yesterday afternoon in a nonconference doubleheader on the road by scores of 10-2 and 12-5. The Racers mercied the Trailblazers in game one while the second game went all seven innings. Ohio Christian is now 6-16 overall after the pair of losses.
Ohio Christian was unable to take the lead in either game as the Racers came out hot and did not let up.
Kylee Bako had her best day of hitting so far this season, going 4-6 in two games with a home run, six RBIs and one double.Â
Chandler Hayes was 3-5 at the plate in game two with three runs, one RBI and one double.
Hilarie Spitler was 2-4 with one RBI while
Kristin Gardner came up with two hits and two runs in five at bats.
The Trailblazers spend Easter weekend at home with back-to-back conference doubleheaders on Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th.
