CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The winning streak came to an end Wednesday afternoon as the Trailblazers fell 5-1 to Kentucky Christian University. The two teams cut the game to seven innings due to field conditions. Ohio Christian's record moves to 8-19 with the loss.
The Trailblazers were only able to get two hits off, one by
Andrew Keener and the other by
Matthew Keener. Andrew scored the lone run for the Trailblazers while
Hayden Haines batted him in.
Kentucky Christian came up with two runs early, one in the fifth inning and finished out the seventh inning with another two runs to round out the scoring. The Trailblazers were held scoreless in all but the first inning.
Ohio Christian has a big weekend, heading to conference rival the University of Rio Grande for a three-game series on Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th.
