BECKLEY, WV -
Haley Cox highlighted the night yet again for the women's basketball team, breaking the all-time single-season scoring record with 25 points for a total of 677 so far this season. The Trailblazers came up with a 96-68 win over West Virginia Tech to move to 19-6 and 10-4 in conference play where they sit at third overall.
Three Trailblazers were over 20 points in the win, led by Cox with 25 along with six rebounds.
Emma Koons had yet another double-double with 23 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and two steals in just 26 minutes of play.
Ashley Deweese came up with 20 points, five rebounds and five assists.Â
The Trailblazers continue their road stretch this Saturday, February 17th when they head to Shawnee State University for a 1 p.m. tip-off. This will be the two teams' second meeting this season, the first going to the Bears 77-73.
