RIO GRANDE, OH - The men's basketball team took down the University of Rio Grande for the first time in seven games by a scoreline of 71-54. The Trailblazers are now 12-12 and 7-6 in conference play.
The first half made the difference for the Trailblazers as the second half was tied at 27.
Jimmy Salamone came up big for the Trailblazers with a season-high of 31 points in just 33 minutes of play. Salamone was 6-8 from deep.
Levi Seiler added 18 points and eight rebounds while Titue Burns added 16 points. As a team the Trailblazers shot 48.1 percent from the field.
The Trailblazers stay on the road and head to West Virginia Tech for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off on Tuesday, February 13th.Â
