CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The women's basketball team team came up with a massive 88-72 win over a Point Park side who sits at second in the RSC East. The Trailblazers move to 16-5 and 7-3 in conference play.
Ashley Deweese had a career day with a career-high 33 points, seven steals, six rebounds and five assists. Deweese shot 8-21 from the field, 5-12 from deep and 12-14 from the line.

Haley Cox had 22 points while
Emma Koons came up with a double-double of 21 points and ten rebounds along with three steals.
The Trailblazers had to climb back to take the lead halfway through the first quarter and then the momentum was all theirs. Deweese came out with a quick ten points to lead the offense in the first quarter to a 25-15 lead.
Koons came out in the second quarter with a five-point run to take her total to 15. She finished the first half with 17 points and five rebounds, followed closely by Deweese with 15 points. The second quarter was all Blazers until Point Park made a late push to tie the quarter. The Trailblazers maintained their 12-point lead from the first quarter 47-35.
The Trailblazers controlled the third quarter well but still couldn't bury the Pioneers who held on to tie the quarter again for a 64-52 scoreline.
The Pioneers came within six to force an Ohio Christian timeout which Deweese answered with a triple to build momentum for the home side in the last four minutes for them to take it away to a huge conference win.
The Trailblazers head to Alice Lloyd College on Saturday for a 1 p.m. tip-off as they continue conference play.
