RICHMOND, IN - The Trailblazers continued their stretch of away games at Indiana University East on Saturday evening, falling 3-0 by scores of 22-25, 16-25 and 19-25. Ohio Christian moves to 5-8 overall and 0-2 in conference play with the loss.
The team's offense started strong, with a .300 hitting percentage in the first set but they couldn't hold it throughout the game.Â
Three Trailblazers had eight kills,
Morgan Blakeman,
Allison Thompson and
Alexa Mader. Mader had her eight kills on 17 attempts with just two errors for a .353 hitting percentage.
Madison Blickenstaff came up with six kills.
Sophie Coleman had 18 digs and
Josie Buck had nine digs with four kills.
Rylee Barr contributed 33 assists and eight digs.
Next up, the Trailblazers take on West Virginia University Institute of Technology on the road tomorrow, September 19th at 7 p.m.
