BECKLEY, WV - The Trailblazers snagged one set from West Virginia Tech Tuesday evening, but were unable to win the River States Conference matchup, falling 3-1 (18-25, 25-22, 15-25, 18-25). Ohio Christian remains winless in conference play with an overall record of 5-9.
The Trailblazers struggled offensively with a .036 hitting percentage.
Alexa Mader led the way with 11 kills, followed by
Madison Blickenstaff with ten.
Morgan Blakeman added eight kills.
Sophie Coleman led the defense with 26 kills.
Rylee Barr had a double-double with 31 assists and 12 digs.
The Trailblazers will look to turn things around this Saturday, September 23rd when they travel to Point Park University for a 12 p.m. conference battle.
