HOWELL, MI - The women's soccer team got back to action on Saturday evening when they traveled to Cleary University for a nonconference matchup. Cleary took the win for their first of the season 3-0, while the Trailblazers are now 0-2.
Ohio Christian played the entire game with no substitutions, making it tough to maintain a defensive effort. Cleary put up their goals in the 15th, 38th and 68th minutes.
Karissa Buttelwerth led the Trailblazer offense with four shots and three on goal.
Alexis Dotson played all 90 minutes between the pipes, making 16 saves.
The Trailblazers have their first home game this Saturday, September 16th at 1 p.m. when they host Great Lakes Christian College.
