CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Ohio Christian volleyball team has received the United States Marine Corps/American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the first time after a team GPA of 3.79 last fall and 3.65 last spring.
Ohio Christian received the Team Academic Honor Roll distinction for being in the top 20% of GPAs for NAIA schools.
The Trailblazers are one of 1,343 collegiate and high school teams and one of 65 NAIA women's volleyball teams to receive the award.
"We are honored to receive this award from the AVCA and the United States Marine Corps and I am especially proud of our girls for being recognized in the top 20% of NAIA schools academically," head coach
Ally Coyle said. "These girls are always striving for excellence whether on the court or in the classroom!"
