CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Trailblazers' struggles continued Tuesday night as they were swept by Shawnee State University by scores of 25-15, 25-18 and 25-17. The loss moves the Trailblazers to 10-14 overall and 5-7 in conference play, where they currently sit in 9th. The top eight will move on to the postseason tournament following the regular season.
The Trailblazer offense created 24 unforced errors which gave Shawnee an easy advantage.
Madison Blickenstaff led the Trailblazers with 10 kills and two blocks.
Alexa Mader had eight kills and two blocks. Braylyn Stockman was the most consistent offensively for Ohio Christian with six kills, zero errors and a .462 hitting percentage.
Defensively,
Sophie Coleman led with 18 kills.
Rylee Barr came up with 20 assists and
Allison Thompson had nine.Â
The Trailblazers are home again this Friday, October 200th when they host Midway University at 5 p.m.
