ST. MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, IN - The women's soccer team fell to St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on the road by a scoreline of 6-2 on Saturday afternoon.
Karlie Tipton notched her second goal of the season in the 7th minute giving the Trailblazers an early 1-0 lead. They went into halftime down 3-1 but
Isabel Ruff took one back in the 55th minute for her first goal in her first game of the season. Tipton assisted on Ruff's goal.
Karissa Buttelwerth put up five shots and one on goal, and Tipton had four shots and three on goal to go with her goal and assist. The Trailblazers couldn't keep the offensive momentum going after Ruff's goal and fell 6-2. Goalkeeper
Alexis Dotson came up with 10 saves.
The Trailblazers take on Indiana University East at home this Thursday, October 19th at 1 p.m.
