CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The women's soccer team suffered a tough loss to Indiana University East on Thursday afternoon, conceding just one goal on a converted penalty kick in the 48th minute.
The Trailblazer defense faced a high defensive effort from the Red Wolves who put up 25 shots and 13 on goal. Goalkeeper
Isabel Ruff came up with 12 saves.
The offense put up eight shots and two on goal.
Elizabeth Grooms had four shots and two on goal.
Karissa Buttelwerth nearly had the equalizer, launching one out of the keeper's reach that came off the crossbar in the 78th minute.
The Trailblazers are down to their last three games of the season starting tomorrow, October 21st at Midway University for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
