DANIELS, WV — The Ohio Christian golf team competed in the Golden Bear Classic at Glade Springs Resort in Daniels, West Virginia this week. Glade Springs has hosted tournaments such as the Greenbrier Classic Qualifier in years past. The Trailblazers finished the tournament in 5th place out of seven teams with a score of 649, dropping one place on the second day.
Senior Noah Lung has historically played well at Glade Springs and this week was no different. Noah shot 78-77, which would result in finishing in a tie for 10th place. Lung made the All-Tournament Team with the performance. Freshman Saisumit Bandi shot his career low as a Trailblazer by firing 78-79. With this being his third college tournament, the coaches are looking forward to seeing how Saisumit will continue to grow.
The Trailblazers will tee it up again for the last time in the fall season at Shawnee State on Oct. 17th-18th.
