I am from Harrodsburg, Kentucky where I graduated from Mercer County Senior High School. After graduation, I went on to play for Campbellsville University for 2 years. I have 4 years of high school coaching experience and 1 year of AAU coaching experience, mostly on the girl's side. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Adult and Higher Education.
I am blessed to have received the opportunity to lead, guide, and coach the OCU Women’s Basketball Team. I am ready to bring energy, excitement, enthusiasm, and motivation to the sideline and to the university! I am ready to build an awesome culture where our players can learn and grow academically, athletically, mentally, and spiritually.
A verse that I live by and that I will use to guide our team is from Philippians 3:12-14
“Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
Outside of basketball, I enjoy spending time with my wife Ceri and my family, facilitating a growth mindset, growing in my spiritual walk, watching sports, keeping up with business, education, and technology trends, being a lifelong learner, watching tv and movies, traveling, and making desserts.
