George Arroyo Jr. is entering his fourth year as Director of Athletics.
Prior to this role, Arroyo Jr. was named Ohio Christian's head coach of men's soccer, affiliate faculty in the Sport Business Management Department and athletics compliance coordinator in May 2020.
After graduation, Arroyo Jr. moved into college coaching ranks while working as a physical education and health instructor at Citrus Park Christian. Following a short stint as an assistant coach at Southeastern University, he became the head coach at Warner University in 2012. At Warner, Arroyo Jr. guided the Royals to its first ever NCCAA Regional Tournament Championship and National Tournament appearance. He was named the NCCAA DI South Region Coach of the Year in 2015. He also served as the NCCAA South Region Chair in 2016.
In 2017, Arroyo Jr. was named head coach at Eastern Nazarene College. It was there he received experience in the classroom as he taught in the Sport Management department. In 2018, he led the soccer program to the NECC quarterfinals.
Arroyo Jr. holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Southeastern University and a master’s degree in Sport Science from United States Sports Academy. Shortly after, he went on to receive a master’s degree in Business Administration from Warner University.
Arroyo Jr. holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
He currently lives in Lancaster, OH with his wife Beth Arroyo, son Zion Cristiano and dog Mango.
