Ally Coyle

Ally Coyle, a former graduate assistant for the Trailblazers, returned to Circleville as the head coach of the Ohio Christian women’s volleyball program in August of 2021. Coyle is the fifth head coach of the Trailblazers since they joined the NAIA conference in 2015.

Coyle has an extensive history coaching the high school, club, and collegiate level over the last 10 years. At the high school level Coach Coyle served as the Junior Varsity Head Coach at Lakota East for their Men’s Volleyball program. On the club circuit, Coyle currently coaches a 17 Regional Team at Roundtown in Circleville and has coached their 18’s team the last 5 years. 

Coyle got her feet wet in the collegiate realm when she started as the graduate assistant Coach in 2013 here at OCU. She then got hired at Clark State Community College and restarted their program in 2015. The last 5 years she has served as the Head Coach at Ohio University-Chillicothe. She led the team to an undefeated season is 2018 and to back-to-back regional championships in 2018 and 2019 before starting her journey back to OCU.

Ally graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Kentucky Christian University and was named a 2X First-Team All-American volleyball player during her career at KCU. She continued her education here at OCU as a graduate assistant and received a master’s degree in Business Administration. 

Ally married her husband, Dylan, an OCU Alum, and they reside in Orient, Ohio with their son Carter.
