Louisville, KY - The No. 6 Ohio Christian volleyball earned a 3-0 victory over Boyce College on Tuesday evening, taking the match by scores of 25-21, 25-5, and 25-9.
Emma Hannah paced the Trailblazers with an impressive all-around performance, recording a double-double with 18 assists and 14 digs. Hannah also added two aces.
Ohio Christian opened the match with a competitive first set, battling Boyce before securing the 25-21 victory. They then limited Boyce to just five points while hitting .368 as a team. They secured the sweep in the third set, hitting .306.
Hailey Sembach led the Trailblazers offensively with nine kills, while
Julia Orndorf and
Kynedi Davis each contributed eight kills. Sembach also added four blocks, while Davis ended the match with eight blocks.
Sophie Coleman led defensively in the back row with 20 digs, with Hannah adding 14 and
Lael Simmons with eight.
The Trailblazers move to 10-6 on the season and will travel to Kuyper College next Friday, October 2nd for a 4:00 PM match.
