Circleville, OH - The women's soccer team battled through a challenging game Wednesday afternoon, falling 8-0 to Cleary University.
Cleary opened the scoring about halfway through the first, giving the visitors a 1-0 advantage. The Cougars continued to apply pressure in the second half to secure the 8-0 victory.
Despite the result, senior goalkeeper
Daisy Dunham turned in a strong performance for the Trailblazers, recording 15 saves throughout the match. Cleary finished the afternoon with 39 shots, including 23 on goal, while holding the Trailblazers without a shot on goal. The Cougars also held an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks.
The Trailblazers will look to come back on Saturday when they travel to Salem University for a noon kickoff.
