Kansas City, MO - The baseball team played Nelson University (#8) where they lost 5-11 during game 1 of the NCCAA College World Series.
The Blazers struck first in the first inning, following
Ryota Haga's RBI single. After taking a 3-0 lead in the third inning, the Warriors came back and dominated offensively. Despite taking a 5-4 lead in the fifth, the Warriors continued to score, winning 5-11.
The Blazers will play College of the Ozarks on Monday at 12:00 pm EST in hopes of staying in the tournament.
