Softball Splits Series at Penn State Beaver

Monaca, PA - The softball team played Penn State Beaver where they won one game and lost one game. 

Game 1 Summary
The Blazers came out strong, taking a 1-0 lead against Penn State. Despite, the Lions coming back and taking a 1-2 lead in the second, the Blazers came out strong offensively and won 8-6. 

Game 2 Summary
The Blazers weren't as strong offensively the second game, allowing the Lions to take a 0-4 lead in ghe second. Sophomore, Veronica Rarey, put the Blazers on the board with an RBI single to center, but the team wasn't able to produce any more runs. Final Score: 1-5. 

The Trailblazers will travel to Shawnee State on Monday for a 3:00pm and 5:00pm double header.
