Join us in congratulating Mark Taylor on his retirement as Head Golf coach at Ohio Christian University. After approximately four years of dedicated leadership, Coach Taylor leaves behind a legacy defined not only by success on the course, but by meaningful spiritual growth within the program.

During his time at the helm, Coach Taylor emphasized the importance of developing the whole student-athlete. Reflecting on his tenure, he shared, "The greatest accomplishment of the golf program has been seeing young men and women grow spiritually. I am so thankful for both the men's and women's teams and how they have supported each other." His commitment to fostering unity between the men's and women's teams helped build a culture of encouragement, accountability, and Christ-centered community.

Athletic Director Ally Coyle expressed appreciation for Coach Taylor's leadership, saying, "Mark has led our golf program with integrity, humility, and a genuine passion for mentoring student-athletes. His commitment to spiritual development and team unity has made a lasting impact on our campus. We are deeply grateful for his service and wish him all the best in this next chapter."

Stepping into the role of interim Head Coach is Ben Bailey, who previously served as the programs assistant coach. A proud alumnus of Ohio Christian University, Coach Bailey was a member of the golf team during his time as a student-athlete and understands firsthand the values and traditions that shape the program.

Coach Bailey expressed both gratitude and excitement about the opportunity: "I am honored and excited to lead the golf program at Ohio Christian University. It is a privilege to join a community that values both athletic excellence and spiritual growth, and I look forward to building a competitive culture that empowers our student-athletes to succeed on the course and in life. Mark Taylor has done a phenomenal job laying a strong foundation for this program, and I am eager to build upon that. I look forward to taking the momentum he created and pushing our teams to even greater heights."

As the program turns the page to this new chapter, it does so with appreciation for the strong foundation laid by Coach Taylor and anticipation for the future under Coach Bailey's leadership.
