Sophie Coleman reach a major career milestone, recording her 2,000th career dig.
Coleman finished the match with a team-high 14 digs, reaching the milestone as she led the back row defensively.
"Hitting 2,000 digs is such a special milestone that reminds me how blessed I am to play the sport I love," Coleman said. "I'm so thankful for the abilities God has given me and for my teammates, coaches, and family who have supported me through it all."
Coleman's milestone adds to an already impressive defensive career at Ohio Christian. She currently holds the school record for career digs, establishing herself as an accomplished defensive player. With 2,000 career digs, she continues to add to a record-setting career.
The Trailblazers finished the match with 42 digs as a team, with
Kennedy Bowling adding seven and
Emma Hannah contributing six. Offensively,
Julia Orndorf and Bowling led the Trailblazers with five kills each, while
Kynedi Davis added four.
Hailey Sembach also recorded four kills, while Hannah helped the offense with 14 assists.
The Trailblazers move to 11-7 on the season and will return home on Saturday for a 12:00 PM match against the University of Northwestern Ohio.
