Circleville, OH - On Friday afternoon, the men's soccer team played Kentucky Christian University where their offense and defense allowed the Trailblazers to shutout the Knights in a 5-0 win.
OCU came out with intensity. Just three minutes into the game,
Mason Sims opened the scoring, giving OCU a lead. Just 15 minutes later, Sims scored again, assisted by
Caleb Rose, doubling the lead. Rose then scored a goal, assisted by
Benjamin Porter, sending the Blazers into halftime with a 3-0 lead.
The Trailblazers were then able to score two more times in the second half, one by
Malachi Murphy and the other by
Cameron Crawford. Once again,
David Spicer Jr. was able to dominate the goal post by having 8 saves to deny KCU's multiple penalty kick opportunities.
The Trailblazer's play at home this Friday against Kuyper College, the game will begin at 3:00pm.
