Springfield, OH - The Women's softball team lost a double header against Wittenberg University. The scores of the games were 2-3 and 5-8.
Despite striking out 8 batters in the first,
Emma Hastings wasn't able to come up with a win, after going into extra innings. Offensively, Hastings went 2-7 on the day and 4 stolen bases.
The Trailblazers ended the first game with a combined total of 5 hits and 2 runs.
Lexi King pitched the second game and struck out 3 batters. Offensively, King went 2-2 in the second game with 1 run scored.
Lauryn Pate ended the second game going 2-4 with 2 RBIs and 1 run scored.
Bailey Lyons went 1-3 on the day and had 1 run scored.
The Trailblazers ended the second game with a combined total of 11 hits.
The Trailblazers return home tomorrow in hopes of finding a win against Miami University Hamilton. The games are at 2:30 and 4:30.
