Baseball Loses Tough Game in the 11th

Circleville, OH - The Men's baseball team played Bluefield University where they lost 3-6 out of 11 innings. 

John Santopadre got the start for today's game, which is his first of the season after coming back from an injury. He pitched 2 innings and struck out 2 batters. 

Offensively for the Trailblazers, the team had a combined 8 hits. 

Bejnamin Sterrit went 2-3 on the day with a double and an RBI. Karson Runk had a game-tying hit in the ninth inning, sending the game into extra innings. 

As the Trailblazers entered the 11th inning, Ridge Clark wasn't able to hold the fort down and gave up 2 earned runs. 

The Trailblazers stay at home going into this weekend where they will play two double headers against Wright State Lake University. Both games on Friday and Saturday are at 12:00pm and 3:00pm.
