Greenville, SC - The baseball team took two wins in a three-game opening series against Bob Jones University this weekend, falling just short of a series sweep in the second game, where the Bruins walked off the game in the ninth inning.
Tyler House pitched seven innings for the first win, allowing no runs scored, 3 strikeouts, 2 walks, and 2 hits.
Benjamin Sterritt led the team offensively with a single and a two-run home run, as well as
Stephen Larkins with 2 triples and 1 stolen base.
Matthew Keener ended the weekend with five hits with a triple, 2 RBIs, and a stolen base.
The Trailblazers take next weekend off and look to win another series as the season progresses where they travel to Augusta, GA for a double-header on February 14th and a final game on the 15th against Paine College.
