OLIVET, MI -- Men's Soccer took on The University of Olivet but came up short on the road. 

Shortly into the first half, the Comets took the lead from a penalty kick. Freshman David Spicer Jr. saved the initial pk but the Comets raced onto the rebound and fired into the roof of the net. The Trailblazers had good moments in the game and battled toe to toe in a physical match. Led by Senior Riley Dunham, the Trailblazer back line worked hard to keep the game at 1-0 heading into the second half. The game would remain tightly contested until the 75th minute when the Comets scored the second and final goal of the match.   

The Trailblazers return back to Michigan on Friday, September 6, for a rescheduled game against Grace Christian University.
