FT. LAUDERDALE, FL - The baseball team opened the 2024 season this weekend at the University of Fort Lauderdale and Florida National University. It was a slow start for the Trailblazers, going 1-5 in their first six games. They showed improvement, winning the final game of the first two series.
The Trailblazers only got six runs in in their first three games at the University of Fort Lauderdale. They fell in the fourth game of the season 10-17.
Stephen Larkins went 2-5 from the plate with two runs.
Caleb Haller came up with two runs and an RBI.
The first of two games at Florida National went to FNU 16-2.

Matt Bradley had the Trailblazers' two runs.
The Trailblazers' first win of the season came from a well-rounded six runs, coming from six different athletes.Â
The Florida trip continues for the Trailblazers later this week when they head to Atlantis University for a three-game series beginning on Thursday, February 8th at 11 a.m.
