PORTSMOUTH, OH - The men's basketball team battled hard at Shawnee State in the RSC Quarterfinals yesterday, but couldn't finish the job and fell 89-76. The Trailblazers finish the season with an overall record of 13-16 and a conference record of 8-10.
Levi Seiler finished his final season strong, with a double-double of 33 points and 11 rebounds. Seiler shot 10-17 from the field, 4-8 from three and 9-11 from the free throw line.Â
Cale Rammel came off the bench for the 13 points and six rebounds.
Devon Miller had ten points in 24 minutes of play.
The Trailblazers came out with a quick 7-0 run but the Bears quickly made a game of it and the teams went into halftime tied at 36 with five lead changes in the first half. Seiler had an outstanding 22 points at the half.

The Bears came up with their largest lead of the game with nine minutes to play at 62-52. When Shawnee went up by 13 with seven to play, the Trailblazers could not get the momentum back and the Bears ran away with it.Â
The Trailblazers showed much improvement as the 2023-24 season progressed, going 9-5 in the second half of the season.Â
