Lima, Ohio - The Lady Trailblazers opened up their season against the University of Northwestern Ohio this past Thursday. Both teams fought hard with the game ending 89-88 on a buzzer beater shot by the Racers. The Lady Trailblazers would finish the game shooting 39.4% from 3pt line and 41.3% from FG.

Emma Koons was able to score her 1,000 point within the first 2 minutes of the game, making a corner 3pt. She would go on to get a double double for the game and shoot 8-11 from 3pt.
