Box Score PIPPAS PASSES, KY -- In a game filled with seven goals, Men's Soccer got the win in a highly entertaining game.
The Trailblazers scored early in the first half from a corner kick when Rilley Dunham leaped over the Alice Lloyd defense and found the net with a header.
Benjamin Porter delivered the assist. The Eagles would score next after they raced on to a rebounded shot from a set piece. The Trailblazers second goal was more direct as
Mason Sims flicked the ball from a goal kick into the path of
Kamden Smith who struck it early past the Eagles keeper. Ohio Christian went into half time with a 2-1 lead.
In the second half, the Eagles would strike from a well placed shot on top of the box to make it 2-2. Moments later, the Eagles would take the lead from a direct free kick which caught the Trailblazer defense off guard. But, it would be the Trailblazers who found the net twice in the final moments of the game.
Jorge Pacheco sent a deep cross into the box and
Mason Sims tied the game with a well-executed header. In the final minutes,
Kamden Smith found himself on the corner of the box and played the ball to
Abid Alfadil, just outside the box. Abid needed one touch before placing the ball into the side net past a stretching keeper.
The Trailblazers return home this weekend to take on Boyce College.
