CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The women's basketball team is riding a three-game winning streak after taking down Indiana University Southeast 79-75 on Tuesday evening. The Trailblazers battled through six lead changes and a slow first half to get their 11th win of the season and 3rd in conference play.

Haley Cox led the Trailblazer offense with 28 points, five rebounds and three steals. She shot 10-15 from the field and sits just seven points away from 1,000 in her career.
Ashley Deweese had one of her best games of the season, tying her season-high 25 points on her career-high six triples.
Emma Koons came up with 15 points and eight rebounds while
Darcy Mitchell had six points and nearly matched her career-high with eight assists.
The Grenadiers took an early 14-12 lead in the first quarter as the Trailblazer offense struggled to get going. Southeast was 3-3 from deep and 10-15 overall in the first quarter while the Trailblazers struggled to hit anything against the Grenadiers' zone offense, going 5-15 from the field, and found themselves down 10 25-15 at the end of the first.
The Trailblazers won the second quarter 14-11 and shot a much improved 41.7 percent while the Grenadier dropped from 66.7 to 33.3 percent. It wasn't enough to close the gap and they went into the locker room down 36-29. Deweese put up 11 points in the first half.
Cox came alive in the third quarter, with three triples to get the Trailblazers their first lead of the half at 45-44. She followed it up with a huge and one to extend the lead to six and take her total to 21 on the night. Ohio Christian dominated the quarter, winning it 25-11 and taking a 54-47 lead.
Both teams were putting up big numbers in the fourth quarter and the Trailblazers shot a solid 58.3 percent from the field, taking their average for the game up to 51 percent.
The Trailblazers hit the road to take on conference opponent Midway University on Saturday, January 13th at 1 p.m.
