PORTSMOUTH, OH - The women's soccer team worked through a rain delay at Shawnee State University, falling 12-1 to the Bears. Shawnee's goals were split evenly through two halves, while the Trailblazers' lone goal came in the 24th minute by
Elizabeth Grooms.
Grooms led the offense with the goal and two shots. She was assisted by
Karlie Tipton who had a shot of her own.
Karissa Buttelwerth put up two shots and
Alexis Dotson made 12 saves in goal.
The Trailblazers stay on the road for their next two games, starting with a big conference matchup against the University of Rio Grande this Saturday, September 30th at 5 p.m.
