CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The men's basketball team hung with a solid University of Rio Grande on Saturday afternoon, but couldn't complete a late comeback push and lost 85-81 to open conference play. The Trailblazers are now 3-7 overall.
Levi Seiler put up a career-high 36 points in the loss, on top of a team-high seven rebounds, two assists and one steal. Seiler shot 10-21 from the field, 5-10 from deep and a perfect 11-11 from the free throw line.Â
Seiler was the only Trailblazer in double digits, followed by
Elisha Moore and
Obie Bronston Jr. with nine points each.Â
The Trailblazers continue conference play next Saturday, December 9th when they host West Virginia University Institute of Technology at 3 p.m.
