Box Score CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The women's basketball team fell to No. 14 University of Rio Grande on Saturday afternoon by a 107-88 scoreline to open conference play. The Trailblazers are now 5-2 overall.
Haley Cox highlighted the day for the Trailblazers once again with her third-straight 35 point game, this time on just one triple. Cox sits comfortably in second for points per game in the NAIA with an average of 29.4.
Emma Koons came up with a big 25 points and eight rebounds in just 28 minutes of play.
The team shot 31-74 from the field, 9-32 from deep and 17-22 from the line.Â
The Trailblazers head to Cedarville University for an exhibition this Thursday, December 7th at 7 p.m. before returning to regular season play next Tuesday, December 12th when they travel to Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
