CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The women's soccer team took a defensive approach to their conference matchup with Indiana University Kokomo, but were unable to hold on and fell 5-0.
The Trailblazers held the Cougars to a 1-0 lead until the 34th minute when Kokomo added two more goals before halftime. The last two came early in the second half and the Cougars were held scoreless for the last 30 minutes.
Elizabeth Grooms led the offensive effort with four shots and two on goal while
Karissa Buttelwerth contributed another two shots on goal.
The Trailblazers host Point Park University on Thursday, October 12th at 1 p.m.
