WILMORE, KY - Junior
Rylee Barr broke the school record for career assists Tuesday night in the Trailblazers' 3-1 (15-25, 15-25, 25-23, 16-25) loss to Asbury University. Barr's 30 assists pushed her career total to 1,806 which broke the previous record since Ohio Christian joined the NAIA in 2015 of 1,785. The record was held by Katie Bush who competed on the volleyball team from 2016-2019.
The Trailblazers move to 8-10 overall with the loss.
The Trailblazers' offense couldn't keep up with a dominant Asbury side who was hitting a team average of .203 compared to Ohio Christian's .079. RSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
Madison Blickenstaff led the Trailblazers with 11 kills.
Josie Buck came up with a double-double with ten kills and 18 digs.
Ohio Christian spends the weekend at home, taking on Brescia University at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 6th.
